I wrote this devotional after years of constantly hearing a white woman’s voice when I read my devotional. It was the worst thing ever. I started to feel as if my vernacular was not saved enough. I code switched…. in front of God. That makes no - sense. He knows me, he loves every bit of my blackness and I wanted this devotional to represent that. This book is for the gworls. You know who you are.
